Before I started working with clients on binge eating coaching, I was in the same place you’re probably in now.
I remember going into the kitchen every 5 minutes taking just 1 more slice off of the cake, only to realize I'd eaten 1/2 of it. I felt so much guilt for my lack of self-control.
My weekdays would be marked with perfect restriction, only for the weekends to be a free-for-all... complete chaos, with an extra dose of shame on Sunday nights.
Every Monday, I'd 'start over', only to fall off the wagon before the week was over.
I kept saying the same things to myself that were making me miserable...

I quickly realized that my lifestyle was lacking one of the most crucial elements in order to be truly healthy and flourishing: a simple, adaptable style of eating that I could rely on for the rest of my life and wasn't focused on what I weighed.

WHEN DOES IT START?
Right away! This is an open-enrollment program.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
No, but I can provide you with a superbill for you to request reimbursement form your insurance provider. However, let me be clear, I cannot guarantee anything when it comes to insurance.
I can also provide you with a detailed receipt if you'd like to request reimbursement from your HSA/FSA. You can also use the card associated with that account at checkout.
IS THERE ANY 1:1 IN THIS PROGRAM?
I have found that what women need the most when it comes to their relationship with food is community. No longer feeling alone, stuck, or like they're the only one who struggles.
While this is a group coaching program and I believe our clients get the best results when they learn in groups alongside women doing it with them, I do offer what I call 1:1 touch points:
You can ask your coaches to give individualized, recorded feedback on any of your work.
You will get personalized answers in the group chat.
You will get our undivided attention if you have a question on our group calls.
I DON'T HAVE A FACEBOOK. WILL THAT TAKE AWAY FROM MY RESULTS?
Not in the slightest. The Facebook group is a fun way for us all to connect, but it is not essential. You will have all the same stuff that is in the FB group in your membership portal.
WHY HIRE A REGISTERED DIETITIAN AND NOT A 'CERTIFIED NUTRITIONIST' OR A 'COACH'?
There is a MASSIVE difference between hiring a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) and a self-proclaimed 'coach'* or 'nutritionist'. RD's must complete a bachelor's degree full of nutritional sciences and biological course work, complete an advanced degree, finish 1200 hours of supervised work, and then take a board exam with only a 50% pass rate. In addition, we are required to keep our credential through extensive continuing education.
We eat, sleep, and breathe nutrition, science, and professionalism (no pun intended).
ANYONE can call themselves a nutritionist or coach. There are no regulations behind that title at all. A 'coach' or 'nutritionist' can very well be somebody coaching off of their own experience, and someone who does not posses the knowledge needed to individualize your lifestyle choices.
Formal training and credentials are vital because what might work for one individual may be totally inappropriate, ineffective, or even harmful to another person. This is especially true when we’re talking about binge eating coaching.
*I call myself a coach, but I hold the RD/RDN credential. Very different than the coaches who have no formal training.
